Oceana

Irritants
about which pearls spin
beauty, eerily opaque.
Mer-songs quiver as crystal,
radiate frequencies,
mystical music, mesmerize.
Darkness calls.
Titillating, air and sea
may erupt in symphony
loud and raucous
as life.
Mortal drowners gasp,
cut through strong silk-like veils
to inept, naked truth.
Pearl adornments break,
settle upon ocean floor.
Sea divers ply their trade,
pretty gems for pretty pennies.
Everything recycles.
Every soul is saved.
