A Cure for Cancer

Consider the single cell microorganism.
In motile absorption of sustenance, senseless,
caught up.
Acrobatics of immortality —
ingesting, dividing, ingesting, dividing;
accumulating ancestry
without reflection.
Life imitates life,
accumulates complexity, diversity.
Cells disperse out from infinite regression,
demand expanding territory,
redefinition, delineation, dissemination.
Cultivation of domestication implies
devastation of the wild weed.
Divine royal
poisons, destroys the wellspring to discourage
proliferation of perceived antagonists.
If life is the disease,
surely death is the cure.
