vibrate trails

Red balloon Sun sets below gray roofs, budding greenery.
Relax, evening scoops up, fleet on soft breeze, to join brilliant carnival
comedies, party parades, grand applause,
costume resplendent rebellious glittery spree.
Play the big stage on the midway; whine of weary road recedes.
Play for the cause, for the team. Ride vagabond stories.

Pay toll to chance crossings, uncertain venues.
Emotion fused memory flows, shaman’s intimate cotillion.
Midnight liquid cabaret – soles, face, desire,
dervish montage music inspires.

Sunswept mirage tint highways; magic not easy to find on desolate roads.
Charisma of injun joe, old bonnie, lost to society’s gaps, boarded from home.
Listen to sagebrush-scent smiles, touchstone melody,
long known remedy for relentless despond, living hard,
dying slow alone.
Crash flea-ridden side traps after the show goes eternally on and on;
wrenched gut throbs, bloodshot eyes blurred to the howl.
Twilight crowd a’clamor for loud ad hoc community.
Glamour trance distant from day’s insanity entrains humanity.
Flexible grace gained staggering stadia; lines fade as sound unites.

New York City smells coarse — blood, urine, spit.
Boston emits vomit, dead fish, pre-hangover-dawn.
Callous palaces dredged in dank beer, rowdy song.
Drunken eyes scour greying sky, watch clouds transform, mirror dreams.
Out on spiral fire escape to breathe free of indoor heat,
sway to jungle beat, mesmerized reverie carried on air.
Catch that whiff of inspiration; spin on anchor of rapt vibration.
Notes transmit oceanic pulse  — magic of music
